Micromold’s FLUOR-O-FLO PTFE piping systems are well suited for use in industries that demand the purity and extreme corrosion resistance associated with PTFE. Our systems have seen years of service in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to semiconductors and from chemical plants to pulp mills. Complete systems and individual parts are available for both Threaded and Clamp-Joint Piping Systems. We are also developing a PTFE Tri-Clamp tubing system. Non-catalogue items can be quickly produced in our flexible manufacturing facility. Just remember, if you don’t see it listed, just ask!
These piping systems are ideal for applications where highly aggressive fluids must be handled. Both systems are well suited to low-pressure process industry applications where the extreme corrosion resistance and purity of PTFE are desirable. The XPress™ system is especially suited to drain line applications in which aggressive solvents, acids and alkalis, and sometimes unpredicted fluid mixtures, must be drained. Compared to PTFE lined steel systems, or those made of nickel alloy, Hastelloy, or exotic metals such as tantalum or zirconium, the FLUOR-O-FLO™ systems are usually a more cost effective solution. Both piping systems can be connected easily to other systems.

Our plug valves provides a simple solution to flow-control where virgin PTFE is needed to handle corrosive or high-purity fluids.
The smooth, one-piece plug design eliminates entrapment cavities common in ball valves. The self-lubricating, self-cleaning wiping action is simpler and more reliable than ball valves.
Valves are individually tested at their rated pressure to ensure your satisfaction.
Micromold’s Fluor-O-Valve™ female NPT threaded plug valves provide a simple but flexible solution to flow-control where the superior properties of virgin PTFE are needed to handle corrosive or high-purity fluids. The smooth, one-piece plug design eliminates the entrapment cavities common in ball valves. These valves are designed to complement Micromold’s FLUOR-O-FLO™ PTFE NPT piping system.
The valves feature full-port or standard port, quarter-turn construction. The self-lubricating, self-cleaning wiping action of the one-piece-plug in one-piece-body design is simpler and more reliable than more complex ball valve designs. Sealing surfaces of the plug valve are micro-polished. Valves are individually tested at their rated pressure. They are also suitable for vacuum service.
For manual operation, the valves are equipped with Kynar® PVDF or PPL handles. For remote operation, or special order square heads are provided to permit connection of an actuator. Low breakaway and moving torque allows use of smaller, lower-cost actuators the full port valves. Integral mounting holes in the valve body allow simple but rugged attachment to panels, piping supports, or actuators.
Micromold’s FLUOR-O-SHIELD(tm) PVDF and PTFE Y-Strainers, and Basket Strainers are especially well suited for use in removing suspended solids from corrosive or high-purity fluid streams. They help prevent damage to sensitive downstream process components such as pumps, valves, instruments, and spray nozzles. The benefits of our special designs include:
All fluoroplastic construction that provides far greater corrosion resistance and higher temperature capability than PVC, CPVC, or polypropylene units
Available with a variety of end connections (flanged, NPT, etc.) and screen mesh sizes
Easily removable cap for strainer cartridge take-out and clean-out
PTFE plug allows drainage of residual liquids before cartridge removal
Teflon® FEP encapsulated o-rings on filter cartridge housing combined with machined seats prevent blow-by and external leakage
Custom configured units available in short lead times.
Our Startup Strainers and Baffle Strainers are also listed here. Manufactured out of PTFE, PVDF and other materials, our strainers are in use globally.

From PTFE lined dip steel pipes and spargers to PTFE injection nozzles, thermowells and nozzle liners, Micromold specializes in providing you with the best in extremely corrosion resistant, high temperature components and accessories. In many applications, our products last longer and are more economical than exotic metal components. For applications not requiring the severe service capabilities of PTFE, we also provide quality components using PVDF and other materials.
This section includes detailed information on the product lines listed below. but if you don't see it listed, just ask!
For the ultimate in corrosion resistance we fabricate a variety of tanks from PTFE, PFA and PVDF. Since we engineer and produce all our tanks in-house to your specifications, difficult fit-up and connection problems are easily solved. We can provide lids or covers with or without hinges. Lids and tank bodies can be provided with connections of almost any style — flanged, NPT threaded, Tri-Clamp, etc.
If desired, we’ll design and fabricate tank stands plus needed mounting and reinforcing hardware from virtually any material such as steel, aluminum, or plastics, including PTFE or PFA. We pride ourselves on ability to quickly design and produce tanks to meet your requirements.
Our diverse product line includes virtually all common and most specialty spacers, flanges and gaskets used to connect process piping worldwide. For over 50 years, Micromold has offered products to support this type of service, and has an unparalleled track record of manufacturing standard and specialty spacer, flange and sealing devices for extremely corrosive and high temperature environments.
SPACERS & FLANGES: Whether you need the extreme corrosion resistance of PTFE, PVDF, PPL or CPVC plastic spacers or flanges to match your systems, we can provide you with just about any choice of style and size of spacer or flange to suit your needs
GASKETS: We manufacture an unusually wide range of PTFE gaskets, both envelope and solid styles.
If you don’t see it listed in our standard product lines--just call and ask!

Micromold Products has a twenty-year record of success working with major electric utility companies to develop a variety of standard-replacement and custom plastic products. The company designed and manufactures a number of plastic insulated connectors to replace obsolete or difficult to procure older models. We pioneered the use of nylon in these applications and it passed rigorous testing before approval. Subsequently, years of using these connectors in the field proved the material more than adequate in terms of dielectric strength, toughness and reliability.
The product lines, which began with heavy-duty switch lock-out devices, have grown to include a range of parts focusing on sub-station maintenance applications. These include:
• Low and high voltage Ground and Test Probes for use in testing set-ups for a number of manufacturers' circuit breaker equipment
• Twist-Lock Cable Connectors for specialized cabling featuring rapid, flexible and safe assembly for portable and mounted installations.
• Durable Nylon Grounding Connectors to replace old-style Hessel and other rubber connectors used in grounding high voltage test equipment.
If you need a product or replacement part not listed, please contact the factory (contact information below). We actively seek new opportunities to expand our product lines and rely on your suggestions to initiate development.
